A blog reflection.

Sandra has decided to terminate her blog. She explains why on her blog — good reasons them all. It’s not always easy to come up with new things to blog about or comfortable to tread the line between expressing your thoughts and potentially offending someone. It’s different for everyone.

What has been interesting in this blog experience for me has been the playing out of all the things I’ve read and learned about good Web sites versus less-good ones … I’ve applied those ideas (stealthily) here, and have been amazed at the results. The blog counter is inching ever closer to 10,000, and I’ve been at this only since last July. It boggles my mind.

You guys reading this, especially those who read with regularity, have really made the difference, though. For years and years, I’ve wanted to have a medium for regular writing, and you’ve made that dream a reality with your interest, comments and readership. Even when you’re silent for months, I know you’re there, and I’m so grateful for that.

  1. No, no, no, no, NOOOOO! You can't stop blogging, noooooooooooo!

  2. I'm always sad to see good blogs come to an end. But I know exactly how Sandra feels. It's increasingly hard to be in that place between expressing one's self and doing other things, things that can damage people. It's very difficult, and I too have recently thought about doing the same thing that Sandra did. Best of luck to her.
