the (new) Land o’ Liz

So over the weekend, I moved into my new digs in Nashville, a moderately sized one-bedroom apartment that was very quickly dubbed the Land o’ Liz. I spent all of Monday unpacking and trying to get things settled, and while I still have a little fewer than a dozen boxes still to contend with, most of my stuff is out and in place. It is cozy … not spacious, certainly, but everything (for the most part) has a home, and I am very much comforted to have my books (ALL of them, including the fiction I haven’t bothered to unpack since March), sizeable knick knack collection, and other sentimental things in eyesight.

Today, I received an early Christmas present to help holiday-ize the place.
