We had a “girls night out” (GNO) last night with a few good friends. The destination for the evening was the Studio Movie Grill in Plano, an interesting concept for a movie theater that includes a full bar and menu. The food was decent and the movie, “Spanglish,” was a really good choice for a GNO. I don’t want to spoil the ending for anyone who might go see this another time, but I will just say that we were all hoping for a slightly different ending. Still, I really thought the acting was great — Adam Sandler really does have a versatility his earlier work didn’t belie, and Tea Leoni was brilliantly convincing as a lunatic. 🙂
