documentary trivia

In my first grad school foray — at Arkansas — I took a journalism class on the documentary film form. In it, we had to review a documentary film every week and critique it on several factors, including audio, camera work, writing, framing, etc. I learned tons and loved it; in fact, I nearly took the second half of the class the next semester to make my own documentary, which I had tentatively titled “Generator Man.” (I also went to the Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival — a requirement for the class — and wrote this while there.)

Anyway, during the course I became a ginormous fan of one documentary filmmaker’s work in particular. Can you guess which one? (To assist, I’ve included a link to IMDB’s profile for each.)

A) Michael Moore
B) Errol Morris
C) Ken Burns
D) David Breashears

NOTE: I’ll post the answer to this trivia question in a few days, when I also add my set of a dozen or so movie reviews to my Web site.
