In spite of the inevitable ups and downs, I’ve always had great affection and love for my mother. She’s got an amazing joie de vivre about her that I’m happy to have inherited/learned. Plus, she’s just a wonderful, giving, energetic, ambitious and witty woman.
Many of these reasons I love my mom so much were brought home when I got the birthday card she sent me earlier this year. I’ve been meaning to scan this ever since so I could share, and here it is, finally. On the inside, she wrote (among other things): “I couldn’t resist! … Keep looking!” 🙂
PS: Please let the record show that the above use of “potty mouth” language came from someone that’s not me!! 😉
