After a morning replete with classic Liz procrastination activities — Interweb surfing, ordering checks, paying the electric bill, investigating the process for paying my rent with my American Airlines card so as to reap the rewards of frequent flier miles, doing laundry, walking Rags, etc., etc. — I have spent the last 30 minutes writing, and have another 1,000 words to show for it! They’re even halfway *decent* words!! YAY!
I swear, I could be so freaking productive if I could short-circuit the procrastination steps. Best not to dwell on that. Writing papers is a process for me, one I’ve honed in MANY years of school, and not likely to change at this juncture.
