I saw this on a random blog today — it’s a National Parks Service (Lord knows why them) site about Thomas Edison’s Mental Fitness Test, which he administered to potential employees in the early 1920s.
Said Edison: “Men who have gone to college I find to be amazingly ignorant. They don’t seem to know anything.”
(Aside: As best anyone could tell, Edison never interviewed a woman — not uncommon in the 20s.)
