Friday, Daniel and I are heading to San Antonio for Niosa, which — until I met him — I’d never even heard of before. As it’s been described to me, Friday night will essentially focus on two things: drinking and eating. (Thus, it’s critical we do our weekly WW weigh-in BEFORE we head to San Antonio!) Apparently, the other elements of Niosa — music, etc. — is very secondary to wading through throngs of people, in hot and humid San Antonio weather, seeking out alcohol and food that’s so high in points it boggles the mind. Fun!
We’re staying in town for the weekend to visit his mom, stepdad and half sister. Seeing as how I haven’t left town since Christmas, I’m *really* looking forward to three days of having fun.
I love San Antonio! Tommy and I went a couple years after we were married as a sort of late honeymoon/anniversary trip. Love the food, history, Riverwalk, malls…..I could go on and on!
