Pa Norell would be proud!

When I moved into my first Dallas-area apartment, the place had the world’s worst showerhead. So after successfully hooking up the washer and dryer there, I decided I would go really crazy and change out the showerhead myself. I called my dad and asked him what to do. His advice was typically sage: “Go to Home Depot, find a guy in an orange apron, and ask him how to change your showerhead.” Nice.

The new Chez Liz here in Nashville had a perfectly adequate showerhead, but because the tub is a tad big, it was going to be a real pain to clean with just a showerhead, and one that doesn’t adjust much at that. So, while in Mountain Home, I wandered the aisles of the Home Depot until I found an acceptable (and relatively cheap) shower fixture with a wand.

Tonight, I installed that sucker in ten minutes flat! Check out my handiwork. I’ve got some mad instruction-reading skills, my friends!
