Today was my first adventure in carpooling with a coworker of mine, Susan, who lives about 15-20 minutes south of me but drives essentially the same route as I do to work. Given that the haul from our appointed meeting place is still a good 45 minutes, it’s nice to share the driving responsibilities (and gas expense) with someone else. And, it gives me a nice incentive to get my tuckus out the door in a reasonable time. Literally, I left the house earlier today than I have in probably a month. Not bad, eh?
Now if only they’d add a third lane to 35E north of 190 for us HOVers…. HA! A girl can dream, though, right? 🙂
