hurdle #1: clearing today

It’s almost done.

I’ve just completed the final edits on my first major political science paper of the semester…

I turn it in at 9:15 a.m. today.

It’s 7:30 a.m. now.

But I would just like to say, in my own defense, that I finished writing this blasted paper last night before midnight. I got six hours of sleep last night. My final edit, which I knew needed some serious attention, has taken me an hour.

The paper’s 18 pages plus 3 pages of bibliography/source material. It’s on presidential commissions. And, if I do say so myself, it’s pretty damned good. 🙂

Next is my:
* Final Monday, which I fully believe will be inversely difficult to the amount of time I can dedicate to preparation and studying. With that said, I MUST get an A on that exam, and that’s by no means an easy task with this particular professor.
* Paper due 11/28, which I haven’t really done anything with except to gather materials (almost none of which I’ve actually read).
* Final exam (take-home) due Dec. 3 — haven’t looked at it yet, though I’ve got it.
* Final exam (take-home) and final paper due Dec. 6, which I haven’t even thought about. Literally.

OOF.
