I am reluctant to post this for fear its author might someday stumble upon the words here. Nevertheless, I just can’t help but give you all a glimpse into what my life is occasionally like as a community college adjunct instructor.
Here’s a verbatim quote from an extra-credit assignment one of my students turned in today. I swear, I am NOT making this up!
“Liz Clausen truly understands her audience. She has quite the aptitude for informing her students while appealing to their need for pleasure and entertainment. … thank God we had Liz to set us on the right path towards freedom from our own ignorance.”
I won’t editorialize on those words here… as much as my fingers are twitching to do so. 😉
