I just got off the phone with a student who is already interested in applying for the new position I mentioned earlier this week to help me out. She sounded very bright and composed over the phone, and is a second-semester freshman. I’m so excited!
Last night’s YAP outing to the Improv to see Jim Gaffigan was every bit as stomach-hurting funny as I expected. I was exhausted from laughing so hard. Twenty-seven YAPpers showed up, exceeding my expectations … it may have been my most successful YAP event ever! I just wish I could have had a chance to talk to everyone. (And I wish Daniel could have been there to enjoy the show with us, too.)
In a surprising twist, Dave Little was the feature (warm-up) for Jim Gaffigan … for those who weren’t there, Dave Little is also one of the members of Section 8, who so ably entertained us at Ozona Grill Tuesday night.
And now it’s Friday, and I’m never unhappy on a Friday. 🙂
