{sniff}

So, I *just* finished watching “Bridget Jones 2: The Edge of Reason.” Julie had warned me that it wasn’t as good as the first movie, and I’m willing to concede she was right … but not by much. Colin Firth was adorable (as always) and the movie was the right combination of funny and sweet. In short, I LOVED it.

My favorite line in the movie?

Bridget is laying in bed next to Mark Darcy (Renee Zellwegger and Colin Firth being two of my absolute favorite actors), watching him sleep. He opens his eyes and, after teasing her, says something like, “You know, I’ve actually been wanting to ask you something.”

Bridget, thinking he may be on the brink of proposing, sits up in bed and says, “Oh?”

And Mark says, “Yes, in fact, I’ve been wanting to ask you for a while … and haven’t been sure how to ask you.”

He pauses for dramatic effect, while Bridget tries not to smile too widely because she doesn’t want to give away that she knows what he’s about to ask.

Then Mark says (and this is my favorite line): “Would you like to go on a ski holiday?”

Erg. Men. 😉
